Agnes Scott College invites applications for a Principal 教师 Member of its developing Physician Assistant Program.

Agnes Scott College PA Program has applied for Provisional Accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The anticipated matriculation date is October 2025, pending achieving Accreditation-Provisional status at the 年龄nda meeting.

Responsibilities include PA classroom and laboratory instruction, small group facilitation, and student advisement. Principal faculty will assist with course development, admission processes, and accreditation ongoing review. Principal faculty will serve on program, department, and college committees.  Principal faculty are encour年龄d to actively participate in service to the profession through eng年龄ment in professional organizations. This is a 12-month, non-tenure track, full-time (1.0 FTE) faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, pending experience.

Successful candidates will be licensed or license-eligible as a physician assistant in the State of Georgia, maintain current NCCPA certification, have a master’s degree or higher in physician assistant studies, and have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of clinical experience. Experience in PA education is preferred. Successful candidates may also hold an MD or equivalent medical degree, be board certified or board eligible in their field, hold a current medical license in Georgia, or be license eligible in Georgia, and have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of clinical experience.
